- “User,” “You,” or “Your” refers to any individual or entity accessing our platform or using our services.
- “Homeowner” refers to individuals offering spaces in their homes.
- “Student” refers to university students seeking housing opportunities.
- Services Provided
- O~Nyumbani provides a platform where homeowners can list available spaces and students can search, inquire about, and potentially rent these spaces.
- We do not own, inspect, or manage the listed spaces. We act as an intermediary facilitating connections between homeowners and students. However, we perform background checks to ensure listed properties are genuine and safe.
- User Responsibilities
- Homeowners are responsible for providing accurate information about the available spaces, including rent, amenities, house rules, and any other relevant details.
- Students are responsible for further verifying the accuracy of the information provided by homeowners and communicating directly with them regarding rental terms, agreements, and payments.
- Agreement between Homeowners and Students
- O~Nyumbani is not a party to any agreement or transaction between homeowners and students. Any rental agreements are solely between the homeowner and the student.
- User Conduct
- Users agree not to engage in any unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent behavior while using our platform.
- Homeowners and students must communicate respectfully and conduct themselves in a professional manner.
- Payments and Refund Policy
- O~Nyumbani may charge fees for the use of certain services, which will be clearly communicated to users. Any payments made through our platform are subject to our payment terms and conditions.
- The student may get a partial or full refund if the reservation is cancelled within less than 24 hours after the payment has been made.
- A homeowner may cancel a student’s reservation within less than 24 hours after the payment has been made.
- Limitation of Liability
- O~Nyumbani is not liable for any disputes, damages, or losses arising from interactions between homeowners and students.
- Termination of Services
- We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our platform for any user violating these terms and conditions or engaging in inappropriate conduct.
- Modification of Terms
- O~Nyumbani reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Users will be notified of any changes, and continued use of our platform constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
- Governing Law
- These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ghana. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ghana.
